apperance;; Perdita is a beautiful young woman with an oval face, almond-shaped brown eyes -- which often remind people of a doe's eyes or a dog's eyes; and smooth, long dark brown hair that comes down to around her mid back, which she curls sometimes. Her height is about 5'6" and she has a slim, slightly athletic physique. Perdita is more casual, sporty and girl next door and doesn't wear a lot of make-up and fashionable clothes often, considering she isn't a fancy person at all. Perdita favors wearing jeans, sneakers (Converse mostly) and T-shirts, though she wears fashionable clothes for special occasions or formal events.
personality;; Although she does seem a bit stuck-up and snobbish at first, once you warm up to her, Perdita Gilbert is the sweetest girl. The first thing that you'll notice about our young Perdy here is that she is one of those motherly types -- even though she is too young to have kids just yet. She loves taking care of children, which makes her the star baby-sitter in Hanford. She lives to be the mother figure in her friends' lives, and strives to take care of anything and anyone when she can. She is very gentle, and often very sensitive when it comes to certain subjects, though she can be the stern one whenever someone's getting into trouble. This does mean that Perdy is a little bit of a control freak, but does try to control herself whenever she's out with her friends at a party or a function.
Perdy is very loving, and that does go along with the mothery factor, but she is pretty much loving to everyone that has the fortune of meeting her. Especially when it comes to that special someone. She's also pretty smart, which means intelligence and witty at the same time. She doesn't mean to be at times, but sometimes she just can't resist. Her intelligence does help, and others and kids often come to her for tutoring. She is ver passionate in her work and life, and and it shows in the way that she loves her friends, family and hobbies. Perdy can get a bit fiery, mixing in with her passion, and it also means she's a bit of a hot head with a temper. You do not want to anger our young woman here.
Being kind-hearted is both a strength and a flaw, considering it causes Perdita to be kind to those that don't deserve it at times. She does understand the difference between right and wrong, but she constantly believes that everyone can be saved from their demons, and will put herself in the way to make sure that they are safe and unharmed. Her compassion knows no bounds, though if you do make her angry, you will lose that right from her, and she can turn her back. Perdy is strong-willed and determined, and will do anything to get her way, even if sometimes the act is wrong and will put her in absolute danger. Perdy does end up being a damsel in distress at times, considering all of the above factors, and she is pretty much vulnerable to her emotions when they surface.

history;; Perdita Katherine Gilbert wasn’t born in Hanford, like most of her friends were. Nope, young Perdita, as well as her elder siblings and younger sibling, was born in London, England. Her parents worked at the hospital that she was born at, which made the birth go simply and smoothly, despite her being born a few weeks premature. That didn’t stop her though. Perdy, as she was fondly known by her family, grew up a happy, bubbly little girl who often annoyed the sanity out of her older siblings. When she was four years old however, that changed when she became and elder sister, and joined the rank of the older siblings brigade. However, she loved being an older sibling, and would always help her mother with the cleaning and the diapers and singing lullabies. Even though she was four years old, it was her calling.
The Gilbert family decided to move to America a few months after the new baby was born. Dr. Gilbert had decided to transfer to a hospital in a small town by the name of Hanford, located in Southern California. Luckily, Perdy hadn’t started school yet, so she was able to be enrolled in a preschool where she would meet all of her future friends. Perdita went through school with all of her friends, eventually becoming part of the popular crowd in high school. At the current age of eighteen, Perdy and her friends are seniors at Hanford West, though some of their friends do attend Hanford East.
